Turning unused space into a fully self-contained living area.

This project focused on transforming an underused basement space into a fully functional living area. What was originally a two-car garage and laundry has been reworked into a space that can comfortably support everyday living.

The new layout includes a living area, a full kitchen, a spacious bedroom, and a bathroom, creating a self-contained space that still feels connected to the rest of the home. It was designed to be flexible, giving the family the option to bring in extended family when the time is right.

By rethinking how the space could be used, this project turned what was once wasted area into something practical and valuable—adding both functionality and long-term flexibility to the home.
